How to Play Rainbow Islands Extra

Rainbow Islands Extra is a 1990 platform arcade game and sequel to the arcade classic Bubble Bobble.

The game is a little different to the original Rainbow Islands released in 1987. Notably, the enemies and bosses appear in a different order and the in game music is also different.

Rainbow Islands has a vast number of secrets for the players to discover, which include secret levels, power-ups and riddles. The game has multiple different endings, and to get the "True and Happy" ending you must find and complete the three secret islands. This can be achieved by collecting all 7 big diamonds during the game.
