Asterix and the Power of the Gods is a Sega Genesis platform game released in 1995. It is based on the comic book series Asterix, and most notably on Asterix and the Chieftan's Shield.

Plot

The leader of the Gauls (Vercingetorix) is defeated by Julius Caesar and his Roman army. During the battle, a shield was taken by the invading Romans and Asterix must get it back.

How to Play

Guide Asterix through the different levels, using the map to help you navigate.

Asterix has the ability to jump, run and destroy his enemies by using force.

You can talk to the non-playing characters  just like you would in a role-playing game. You can also visit other peoples houses to search for clues.
