About Asterix and the Great Rescue
Asterix and the Great Rescue is a platform game released in 1993 by Sega for the Genesis/Mega Drive and later for the Master System and Game Gear in 1994.
The game is based on the French comic book series Asterix the Gaul.
How to Play
Asterix and Obelix must rescue Dogmatix and Getafix from the Romans, who are taking over Gaul.
At the games start-up screen, the player is offered a choice of difficulty level. You also have the ability to turn off the sound effects and/or music here.
You can also choose your character at the start of a level.
