Lunar Lander

Lunar Lander is an arcade game released by Atari Inc. in August 1979, and uses a vector monitor to display vector graphics. Atari a few months later in November 1979, released the immortal arcade classic Asteroids using a similar concept and engine. As I recall I had a cartridge game called Moon Lander for the Vic 20 around 1981 or 82. Which was a carbon copy of this game.
The object of the game is to pilot the lunar landing module to a safe touchdown on the moon. Don't land too heavily or your lander will explode and you lose fuel. Lose all your fuel and the game is over.

ReplyHello sir,
Beautiful game. I had the original game, and there were multiple difficulty levels. The level where the craft continues to rotate on its own–even upside down–was especially fun. Did you implement that in this game? I could only find the Speedup control
