Paperboy 2 is a sequel to the original Paperboy game by Atari. Released in 1991 on various consoles and PC's such as the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, DOS, Game Boy, Game Gear, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, NES, SNES, ZX Spectrum.

How to Play

Much like the first game, the player controls a paperboy (or girl) who must get through a bizarre series of obstacles. These include things such as, tires rolling down a driveway, strange haunted like houses, or deranged pedestrians.

You must navigate these dangers while trying to deliver the morning paper to numerous customers on the street. In a change from the first Paperboy game though, the papers have to be delivered on both sides of the street.

There are some specific actions that can be taken around the middle of each stage. These reward the player with a photo on the front-page of the local newspaper.

These include breaking windows, which will make the next day's paper read "Mysterious Vandalism Baffles Police", while showing a disgruntled police officer looking at the damage.

Others include a gas station being robbed, with the gunman being foiled by a newspaper LOL. This has the next day's paper headlining with "Paperboy Foils Armed Robbery". Then there is the runaway baby carriage and Paperboy stopping it, with that headline reading "Boy Saves Breakaway Baby". Both these two heroic stories show a joyous police officer rewarding the paperboy with some candy.

As before (in the original Paperboy game), to complete the game, get through the week safely and keep your subscribers happy. Lose all your lives or subscribers and you will get 'fired' and the games ends.
