About Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat is a fighting arcade game from Midway. Using digitised graphics and extreme gore, it was ground breaking for its time. Since the games release in 1992, there have been many sequels and a number of movies.

How to Play

You start by selecting one of seven characters and fight your way through the other six fighters. You then must fight 3 'mirror' matches (where you fight two opponents in each, back to back). The penultimate fight is against Goro and the final fight is against the evil Shang Tsung.

Q W E = X / Y / Z

A S D = A / B / C

A=Low Punch/High Punch

B=Block

C=Low Kick

X=High Punch

Y=Block

Z=High Kick

Start=Block Up

Face Punch:  HIGH PUNCH
Body Punch:  LOW PUNCH
Face Kick :  HIGH KICK
Body Kick :  LOW KICK
Block     :  BLOCK

Jump Kick     :  Jump + either KICK button
Jump Punch    :  Jump + either PUNCH button
Hop Kick      :  Up + either KICK button
Hop Punch     :  Up + either PUNCH button
Uppercut      :  Down + either PUNCH button
Foot Sweep    :  Back + LOW KICK
Roundhouse    :  Back + HIGH KICK
Low Kick      :  Down + LOW KICK
Throw Opponent:  Forward + LOW PUNCH
Avoid Throw   :  BLOCK + diagonally down + away
Death Punch   :  Standing punch when opponent is jumping into you
