About Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego

This is the MS-DOS Version of Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego.

Carmen's Gang has committed another crime and it's up to you to crack the case. The V.I.L.E. underlings are stealing national treasures, monuments and artefacts.

How to Play

You start this adventure by taking on the role of a rookie detective at the ACME Detective Agency. It's up to you to investigate, find clues, and then ultimately get an arrest warrant for the thief. After which, you must track them down to their hideout, and arrest them.

As you successfully solve cases and capture members of Carmen's gang, you will get promotions. This will in turn make the cases harder to crack (as the games difficulty increases).

After you have solved enough cases, Carmen Sandiego begins to commit thefts and crimes herself. If you manage to successfully apprehend her, she will be put behind bars and you will end your career as a master detective.

HINT : If you take too long to catch up with a gang member, or catch up with one without a warrant or an incorrect warrant, that crook will escape without charge and go free.
